Samarkand Passes CIS Cultural Capital Title to Lachin

The Year of Art and Friendship concluded in Samarkand
Samarkand completed its Year of Art and Friendship, held under its status as the CIS Cultural Capital. The event ended with a CIS Youth Symphony Orchestra performance, led by conductor Sergey Skripka.
At a ceremony in the Regional Theatre of Musical Drama, Samarkand officially transferred the title to Lachin, an Azerbaijani city that will hold the status next year.
