Toshkent Stock Exchange Sees Weekly Trading Volume of 820 Bn Soums

Most of the highly liquid stocks traded on the Toshkent Republican Stock Exchange (RFSE) experienced a decline last week. Kursiv Uzbekistan examined the dynamics of securities.

From November 29 to December 6, the UCI stock index decreased by 1.1%. Compared to the previous week, most company shares did not grow significantly. However, some notable increases were observed in selected securities of Hamkorbank (+5.98%), common shares of Alokabank (+2.17%), and UzAuto Motors (+1.82%).

The worst performers during the week included preferred shares of Alokabank (-18.83%), Uzpromstroybank (-12.19%), and Uzbekneftegaz (-11.24%).

Last week, investors made the most transactions with common securities of UzRTSB (1,068 deals), Alokabank (468 deals), and preferred shares of Alokabank (695 deals).

Only 8 out of 23 highly liquid securities ended the week with gains. During this period, 6,800 transactions worth 820.1 bn soums were conducted on the Toshkent RBF.
