15 children without parental care returned to Uzbekistan from Russia. The National Agency for Social Protection, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and the Ministry of Health of Uzbekistan organised the process.
Initially, specialists worked to bring back ten children from six regions in Russia. During the investigation, they identified five more children who needed to return to Uzbekistan. Consular offices of Uzbekistan abroad also helped in this effort.
After arriving in Uzbekistan, ten children moved to a centre for social and legal assistance to minors. The other five stayed temporarily in an orphanage in Tashkent.
