Uzbekistan’s GDP to Grow by 5.8% in 2025 – World Bank

Uzbekistan’s GDP is projected to grow by 5.8% this year, according to the World Bank’s report Global Economic Prospects.
The financial institution forecasts that Uzbekistan’s economy will expand by 5.9% in 2026.
Globally, World Bank experts anticipate economic growth of 2.5–2.7% in 2025–2026.
In late November last year, Uzbekistan’s President Shavkat Mirziyoyev announced that the country’s GDP had exceeded $100 bn for the first time. He noted that this figure had doubled over the past five years.
Mirziyoyev also highlighted that a sixfold increase in foreign investments played a crucial role in the development of Uzbekistan’s economy.
