Uzbekistan’s service market is now valued at $65 bn, which is 3.5 times higher than in 2018. This information was revealed during an online meeting on the development of the sector, with President Shavkat Mirziyoyev in attendance.

The biggest growth has been seen in sectors such as IT, finance, healthcare, education, and tourism. The meeting highlighted that this market growth is driven by increased income levels and rising demand for new types of services.

The head of state added that the large-scale programme for the development of services, implemented three years ago, is now yielding results.

In 2025, the country plans to increase the export of services to $8.5 bn. Forecasts suggest that the income of citizens working in this sector will reach $2.5 bn.
