Uzbek soccer clubs Navbahor Lochinlari, Neftchi, Sogdiana and Gizzah Star Boston must pay off their debts to coaches and players.

The Committee on the Status and Transition of Football Players of the Football Association of Uzbekistan provided this information.

The Committee reviewed the clubs to ensure compliance with the rights and contractual obligations owed to players and coaches, as reported by the agency’s press service. The Committee aimed to prevent FIFA sanctions.

The inspection revealed that Navbahor Lochinlari owes money to the coach, players of both the men’s and women’s teams, and members of the futsal team.

Neftchi has outstanding payments to players from both men’s and women’s squads, while Sogdiana owes money to its women’s team players. Additionally, Sogdiana has debts to Lokomotiv under a transfer agreement.

Gizzah Star Boston, which competes in the First League, has not paid its players salaries and other dues for several months.

The deadline for these payments has been set for February 14.

Kursiv Uzbekistan also reports that Uzbek soccer will benefit from its membership in FIFPRO.
