Russia and Uzbekistan plan to increase bilateral trade to $30 bn by 2030, as reported by Konstantin Zlygostev, Russia’s trade representative in Uzbekistan.
In 2024, the trade volume between the two countries exceeded $10 bn, marking a twofold increase over the past six years.
Zlygostev highlighted that there is significant potential for trade growth in the energy, industrial, and agricultural sectors.
Currently, more than 70 Russian regions have established economic ties with Uzbekistan’s provinces, the trade representative added.
