On March 21, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev delivered a festive address in the Yangi Uzbekistan Park, extending warm congratulations to the people of Uzbekistan on the occasion of Nowruz, the ancient celebration of renewal and spring.

«Throughout the three-thousand-year history of our statehood, Nowruz has played an invaluable role in the spiritual life of our people,» the President said. «It is nothing short of a miracle that over the centuries—even in the most challenging and difficult times—our people have carefully preserved the unique values of this noble holiday.»

In his address, the President also praised the dedication and contribution of farmers, workers, teachers, healthcare professionals and especially the youth, highlighting their crucial role in shaping Uzbekistan’s future.

«Today, many of the country’s high-tech enterprises are led by well-educated, highly qualified young professionals,» Mirziyoyev noted. «Wherever you are, and whatever field you work in, always remain loyal to our national values and our homeland — Uzbekistan. Always remember that behind you stands a great nation of nearly 38 mln people. And as President, I will do everything possible to ensure you find your rightful place in society.»

Concluding his speech, the President expressed confidence in Uzbekistan’s continued development and emphasized the importance of strengthening friendship among Central Asian nations.

«In these unforgettable and joyful moments, I once again congratulate you — our fellow citizens — on the occasion of Nowruz. I wish peace, happiness, prosperity, and well-being to every family and to our entire country. May the values of Nowruz live forever!» the head of state declared.
