Uzbekistan’s Embassy in Israel has issued an update for citizens currently residing in the country, noting that civil aviation routes remain suspended amid the ongoing security situation.

Airspace Closed, Repatriation Flights Not Available

As of now, Israel’s airspace remains closed to all international commercial flights, with no confirmed reopening date. According to the Embassy, only Israeli carriers are operating limited special flights to repatriate their own citizens from abroad.

Uzbekistan Airways has suspended all flights to Israel until 30 June 2025. Other Uzbek carriers are awaiting official clearance before resuming operations.

The Embassy stressed that it will promptly notify citizens once official updates on flight resumptions become available.

Land Travel Via Egypt or Jordan Still Possible

Previously, the Embassy recommended citizens exit Israel via ground checkpoints into Egypt or Jordan, from where onward travel to Uzbekistan may be arranged. This remains the only current alternative for leaving the country.

Follow Official Guidance During Security Alerts

Amid heightened tensions in the region, Uzbek authorities are urging citizens in Israel to prioritise personal safety. The Embassy emphasised the importance of following instructions from Israel’s Home Front Command during rocket alerts and maintaining caution at all times.

Uzbekistan continues to monitor developments closely and maintains round-the-clock communication through its diplomatic mission in Tel Aviv.
