Cockpit recordings reveal the pilots were shocked by the sudden shutdown of both engines. Just seconds before impact, one crew member asked:
«Why did you shut down the engines?»
The other replied: «I didn’t.»
According to the report, fuel supply was briefly restored after both engines lost power. But it was too late. The aircraft rapidly lost altitude and crashed into a residential area in Meghaninagar.
Aircraft Wreckage Under Investigation
Investigators moved the wreckage to a secured zone near the airport. The plane’s engines were detached and are now stored in a hangar for further analysis.
The AAIB is continuing to study technical data, voice recordings and flight telemetry.
