Jason Momoa has undergone a striking transformation, shaving off his beard for the first time in six years as he prepares to return in Dune: Part Three. In a recent Instagram video, the actor is seen shaving outdoors and reacting in real time to the change. «Damn it! I hate it,» he says with a grimace.

Reflecting on the last time he was clean-shaven, Momoa recalled filming the first Dune film and launching his eco-friendly bottled water brand, Mananalu, back in 2019.

«Only for you, Denis,» he added, addressing director Denis Villeneuve.

Momoa is expected to reprise his role as Duncan Idaho in the third instalment of the sci-fi saga, which is aiming to start filming soon for a potential 2026 release. Adding a personal touch to the upcoming film, his 16-year-old son Nakoa-Wolf has also joined the cast.

Speaking about his son’s decision to pursue acting, Momoa noted, «He did it on his own. I don’t want to help him.» He praised his son’s confidence, saying, «I couldn’t do what he’s doing at his age… He’s 16 and holding s…. down with Denis Villeneuve.»

Kursiv also reports that legendary game designer Hideo Kojima said he won’t be playing Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater.
