A total of 25K tickets were sold for Jennifer Lopez’s concert at the Bunyodkor Stadium in Tashkent, according to Uzbekistan 24. Of those, 15K were purchased by foreign visitors, with Russians making up the majority — 7,500 attendees — followed by 2,500 from Kazakhstan. Ticket prices started at 800K soums.
While the Uzbek government has yet to announce how much revenue the country earned from the event, the condition of the stadium’s grass pitch after the concert became a hot topic among local football fans.

Diyor Imamkhodjayev, head of Uzbekistan’s Professional Football League, commented on X (formerly Twitter):
«Our expectations were met. The field, built for $1 mln, has been ruined. Another $1 mln was wasted due to overly enthusiastic construction decisions. It could’ve been done for $400K,» he said.
On August 3, Lopez also performed in Yerevan, Armenia. According to local media, the event cost the Armenian government $6 mln, but Deputy Mayor Armen Pambukchyan reported that 15K foreign visitors attended, each spending at least $500 in the capital — contributing significantly to the local economy and tourism.
The Uzbek government, however, clarified that the Tashkent concert was entirely privately funded, with no money drawn from the state budget. The actual financial benefit to the capital is still being calculated.
Kursiv Uzbekistan also reports that Jennifer Lopez personally thanked Uzbek singer Munisa Rizaeva for the warm welcome in Tashkent.
