Uzbekistan Produces Over 1.1 Mln Tonnes of Fruit and Berries in H1 2025

According to preliminary data from the National Statistics Committee, Uzbekistan’s farms of all types produced 1.15 mln tonnes of fruit and berries in January–June 2025. This represents a 6.6% increase compared with the same period last year.

By category of farm, output was as follows:

  • Farmer households – 463.9K tonnes
  • Dehkan and household plots – 661.3K tonnes
  • Agricultural enterprises – 26.1K tonnes

For comparison, preliminary figures show that farms across Uzbekistan produced 3.3 mln tonnes of fruit and berries in the full year 2024. In previous years, total production stood at 3.1 mln tonnes in 2023, 3.0 mln tonnes in 2022 and 2.9 mln tonnes in 2021.

Kursiv also reports that Uzbekistan exported a total of 130,600 tonnes of watermelons between January and June 2025.
