CSKA Receive Only €6 Mln Out of €7.5 Mln from Faizullaev Transfer to Başakşehir

CSKA Moscow have received €6 mln from the transfer of Abbosbek Faizullaev to Turkish club Başakşehir, out of the agreed €7.5 mln. The remaining €1.5 mln is being held in a special account in Turkey, sports journalist Ivan Karpov reports.
According to Karpov, CSKA’s management are currently deciding how best to allocate the funds. He added jokingly that fans should not worry about how the club will finance new signings such as Beltrán, as the Moscow side have similar deposits spread around the world.
Faizullaev was sold to Başakşehir at the end of July. Soon after, reports emerged of delays in transferring the full €7.5 mln fee. On August 19, CSKA representative Kirill Breido confirmed that the money had arrived in the club’s account.
The former CSKA midfielder made his debut for Başakşehir on August 21 in a match against Romanian side Universitatea Craiova, which ended in defeat for the Turkish team.
Kursiv also reports that former Portugal manager Paulo Bento is being considered for the position of head coach of the Uzbekistan national football team.
