Marvel’s Wolverine Game Set for Fall 2026 Release on PlayStation

PlayStation has confirmed that its long-awaited Marvel’s Wolverine video game will be released in Autumn 2026. The title is being developed by Insomniac Games, a studio within Sony Interactive Entertainment, in collaboration with Marvel Games.
The first trailer was unveiled on September 24, during PlayStation’s «State of Play» showcase. It featured Liam McIntyre as Logan, giving fans a glimpse of the iconic hero’s claws in action in a violent and uncompromising preview.
According to the developers, the game is designed to capture «the ultimate Wolverine fantasy,» combining fast and ferocious combat with cinematic action sequences and a narrative that delves deep into the essence of one of Marvel’s most enduring characters.
Aaron Jason Espinoza, Insomniac’s senior community manager, said in a PlayStation blog post that while the team is «breaking new ground with Wolverine,» it will continue its tradition of creating stories about heroes facing overwhelming odds. He added that Logan’s arc will explore a more brutal and darker side of heroism than players may expect from Insomniac.
The presentation also brought other major announcements: the release date of Saros has been confirmed for 20 March 2026, and PlayStation’s Gran Turismo series has reached a milestone of 100 mln units sold worldwide.
