Ferrari is venturing deeper into digital finance with plans to introduce a new crypto token that will give its wealthiest fans the chance to bid for a Ferrari 499P, the endurance car that secured three consecutive Le Mans victories.

The initiative, though limited in scope, reflects Ferrari’s strategy to engage younger, tech-savvy investors and entrepreneurs who have benefited from the global surge in artificial intelligence and data-driven markets. It also builds on the company’s growing openness to digital payments, after it began accepting Bitcoin, Ethereum and USDC for vehicle purchases in the United States in 2023, later extending the option to European buyers.

Developed in partnership with Italian fintech firm Conio, the ‘Token Ferrari 499P’ will be available exclusively to members of the Hyperclub — an elite group of 100 Ferrari collectors and endurance racing enthusiasts. Members will be able to trade the token among themselves and use it to take part in a private auction for the 499P.

The digital token is scheduled to launch with the start of the 2027 World Endurance Championship season.

«This is about strengthening the sense of belonging among our most loyal customers,» said Enrico Galliera, Ferrari’s Chief Marketing and Commercial Officer.

Kursiv also reports that recently Porsche has introduced the Macan GTS, the sportiest version of its all-electric SUV.
