Lady Gaga and Kendrick Lamar lead the field for the 2026 Grammy Awards, while K-Pop makes its debut in the song of the year category. Lamar has the most nominations for the second consecutive year, with nine, including album of the year for GNX. Gaga is nominated for album of the year for Mayhem and has seven nods overall.

Two K-Pop tracks are up for song of the year: Rosé and Bruno Mars’ APT, and Huntr/x’s Golden from Netflix’s animated film K-Pop Demon Hunters. Rosé is the first K-Pop idol to be shortlisted for one of the «Big Four» Grammy awards.

If Lamar wins album of the year, GNX will become the first rap album to do so since Outkast’s Speakerboxxx/The Love Below in 2004. He faces competition from Tyler, The Creator’s Chromakopia and Clipse’s Let God Sort Em Out. Puerto Rican star Bad Bunny is also nominated for album of the year for Debí Tirar Más Fotos, marking the second time a fully Spanish-language album has been shortlisted.

The ‘Big Four’ categories include:
