
Birmingham’s infamous Peaky Blinders gang is back in the official Netflix trailer for Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man. The film continues the story of the hit crime drama and will be released in select theatres on March 6, before streaming on Netflix from March 20.
Cillian Murphy returns as Tommy Shelby in the new instalment.
Speaking in June 2024, Murphy said, «It seems like Tommy Shelby wasn’t finished with me… It is very gratifying to be re-collaborating with Steven Knight and Tom Harper on the film version of Peaky Blinders. This is one for the fans.»
Sophie Rundle will reprise her role as Tommy’s sister Ada Thorne, while Stephen Graham and Ned Dennehy return as family allies Hayden Stagg and Charlie Strong. The cast also welcomes new members Rebecca Ferguson, Barry Keoghan, Tim Roth and Jay Lycurgo.
The film is directed by Tom Harper, who helmed several episodes of the original series. Peaky Blinders premiered on the BBC in 2013 and later streamed on Netflix in the US, concluding in 2022 after six seasons. The series was created by British screenwriter Steven Knight.
