Stock Market: O‘zsanoatqurilishbank Leads Growth With 75% Rise

Shares of high-liquidity companies on the Tashkent Stock Exchange (UzSE) recorded mostly positive movement between December 30 and January 9, lifting the UCI fund index by 0.95%.
During this period, ordinary shares of O‘zsanoatqurilishbank posted the strongest growth, soaring 75.48%. Hamkorbank also saw gains, with preferred shares up 17.37% and ordinary shares rising 15.12%. On the other hand, Qashqadaryo Technological Transport shares fell 9.84%, marking the largest decline of the week. AMMC (-4.71%) and Kvarts (-4.04%) also posted losses, while shares of Aloqabank and Chilonzor Commodity Complex remained unchanged.

In terms of transactions, O‘zsanoatqurilishbank led with 1,968 deals, followed by Hamkorbank with 1,760 and UzEx (O‘zRTXB) with 989. By trade volume, UzEx led with 543.59 mln soums ($44,928), followed by Hamkorbank at 487.28 mln soums ($40,274) and O‘zsanoatqurilishbank at 354.83 mln soums ($29,327).
Out of 29 high-liquidity shares, 20 ended the week with gains, two remained unchanged, and seven posted losses. Total trading volume on the main exchange reached 3.21 bn soums ($265,307).
Looking back at 2025, Kursiv Uzbekistan reported that the Uzbek stock market saw notable growth in bank shares. Garant Bank led the surge, doubling in value with a 142.7% increase, while Hamkorbank shares rose significantly, with ordinary shares up 76.3% and preferred shares climbing 113%.
