BitMine to Invest $200 Mln in MrBeast’s Beast Industries
BitMine Immersion Technology has agreed to invest $200 mln in Beast Industries, the entertainment company founded by YouTube star Jimmy Donaldson, widely known as MrBeast. The deal represents one of BitMine’s largest non-core equity investments to date.
Under the agreement, BitMine will make a $200 mln equity investment, though the companies have not disclosed the size of the stake, Beast Industries’ valuation or any governance rights linked to the deal. The transaction is expected to close on Monday.
Donaldson runs a network of YouTube channels with a combined audience of more than 450 million subscribers, making Beast Industries one of the world’s most influential creator-led platforms. BitMine chairman Thomas Lee described MrBeast as «the leading content creator of our generation,» citing strong engagement among Gen Z, Gen Alpha and millennial audiences.
As part of the partnership, Beast Industries will explore the potential integration of decentralized finance (DeFi) features into its planned financial services platform. Chief executive Jeffrey Housenbold said no specific products or timelines have yet been finalized.
Beast Industries has been expanding beyond digital content, with plans announced in late 2025 to launch a financial services platform and a mobile phone business. The company generated about $400 mln in revenue in 2024, according to investor materials cited by Business Insider.
