Uzbekistan will establish a digital platform titled «Unified National Project Management», officials said following a meeting chaired by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

The system is designed to track each project for three years after its launch to ensure it remains operational, generates high added value and successfully enters export markets.

Mirziyoyev said that in previous years attracting investment and launching a project were often considered sufficient indicators of success. In practice, however, a number of major initiatives stalled after their formal start.

Last year alone, 55 projects were not completed on time due to problems with feasibility studies, equipment supply, financing, infrastructure and land allocation.

In 2026, a total of 377 strategic projects worth $165 bn will fall under enhanced supervision as part of the national investment programme.
