Uzbek Embassy Supports Family Following Death of 11-Year-Old in Qatar

Diplomats from Uzbekistan’s embassy in Qatar provided practical support to organise the funeral of a national who died in a road accident, according to Dunyo.

The 11-year-old, M.A., born in Tashkent, was killed after losing control of a vehicle while in Qatar, sustaining severe head injuries.

Upon receiving the information, the embassy, in coordination with Qatari authorities, took immediate steps to address all necessary legal and administrative matters. The family was given full practical assistance, and funeral arrangements were handled closely with them.

Given the regional situation and current transport and logistical restrictions, the family agreed that the boy would be buried in Qatar, with all national and religious traditions fully observed.
