More than 4,900 Uzbek citizens have been flown home from Medina and Jeddah as of March 4, Uzbekistan’s Transport Ministry said.

Domestic airlines also evacuated 235 passengers from Dubai as part of ongoing repatriation efforts.

Following instructions from the president, a round-the-clock operations headquarters has been set up at the Uzaviatsiya agency to coordinate the return of Uzbek nationals. A 24/7 call centre is also operating, with citizens able to contact operators via +998 78 120-00-72 or +998 71 200-07-65.

The Foreign Ministry said on Wednesday it had received no reports of Uzbek citizens killed in the Middle East conflict. Diplomats continue to monitor the situation closely.

Officials said the systematic evacuation of citizens from Saudi Arabia is ongoing and a repatriation flight by Uzbekistan Airways from the United Arab Emirates is also being prepared.
