While widespread rumours suggested the couple was eyeing a $32 mln Rhode Island mansion for a fairytale ceremony, they have reportedly opted for a different setting.
According to Page Six, «save the date» cards have been sent to guests, confirming the A-list duo will marry in New York City on July 3.
The pop star has strong ties to the Big Apple, having combined two adjacent Tribeca penthouses into a sprawling apartment in 2014. The chosen date also allows the singer to roll her nuptials right into her famous Fourth of July celebrations the very next day.

The event promises to be a lavish, no-expense-spared affair. It was previously reported that the couple is allocating a staggering $8 mln solely for security measures to protect their big day.
Preparations for Swift’s hen celebrations are also in full swing, spearheaded by bridesmaids including close friends Selena Gomez and Gigi Hadid. A source revealed that the bridal party has organised several girls’ trips to some of Swift’s favourite destinations, such as New York, Nashville, the Bahamas and Italy.
