Nikki Glaser has shared the brilliant way Leonardo DiCaprio responded to her viral monologue at the 2026 Golden Globes. Appearing on The Tonight Show, the comedian revealed that the Hollywood star sent her several baskets of pasta after she poked fun at his dating life during the awards ceremony.
Glaser, who was hosting the prestigious event for the second time and is already slated to return in 2027, made headlines with a joke about DiCaprio’s well-known habit of dating women under the age of 30. During the broadcast she praised the One Battle After Another nominee for his incredible career achievements, noting that his most impressive feat was accomplishing it all before his girlfriend turned 30.
Acknowledging that the punchline was a bit of low-hanging fruit, Glaser playfully blamed the actor’s extreme privacy. She joked that the public knows absolutely nothing else about him, citing a 1991 Teen Beat magazine interview as his most in-depth media appearance. In that vintage article a young DiCaprio famously declared his favourite food was – a detail that internet sleuths quickly tracked down and verified online.

Speaking to host Jimmy Fallon, Glaser admitted she had struggled to write fresh material about the actor because jokes about his dating history have been circulating for decades. As is her custom following a roast, the comedian sent flowers to all the celebrities she targeted as a token of appreciation for being good sports. Amazingly, DiCaprio was the only star to return the favour.
