Romance took centre stage in California on May 6 as Billie Eilish and Nat Wolff finally made their relationship red-carpet official, People reports. The couple stepped out at the Los Angeles premiere of the 24-year-old musician’s brand-new cinematic release, Billie Eilish – Hit Me Hard and Soft: The Tour (Live in 3D).
Eilish donned a black skirt paired with a green Ralph Lauren polo layered neatly over a white long-sleeved shirt. She finished the ensemble with intentionally mismatched red and blue socks.
Standing proudly beside her was 31-year-old Wolff, keeping things casually smart in a brown double-breasted suit and an open-collared white shirt. The duo shared the limelight with several prominent figures including Eilish’s brother Finneas and the legendary Hollywood director James Cameron. The mastermind behind the Avatar franchise actually stepped in to co-direct this latest musical feature directly with the singer.
Blossoming romance
Speculation surrounding the pair began swirling in March 2025 after they were spotted sneaking away from an awards ceremony together. The rumours intensified months later when paparazzi caught them sharing an intimate moment on a Venetian balcony in June. By February of 2026, they had seemingly cemented their status by attending the Grammy Awards side by side.
Their bond goes beyond romance, however, as their professional lives have increasingly intertwined. Not only did Wolff feature prominently in the music video for Eilish’s hit single «Chihiro» but he and his brother Alex also served as the opening act during her recent global tour.
Wolff has been incredibly vocal about his partner’s boundless talents for quite some time. During a chat with Vogue in 2024, the former Paper Towns star marvelled at her ability to conquer absolutely any discipline she attempts. He shared an anecdote about watching her ride horses, noting that her instructor believed she possessed genuine Olympic potential if she simply chose to focus on the sport.
Prior to finding love with the actor, the «Birds of a Feather» vocalist dated The Neighbourhood’s Jesse Rutherford before they parted ways amicably in May 2023. Her romantic history also includes relationships with rapper Brandon Adams and actor Matthew Tyler Vorce.
Slated to hit cinemas on May 8, the new 3D spectacle serves as Eilish’s third major concert documentary and her first full-length visual release since 2021. Yet her ambitions extend far beyond the music world.
The Grammy winner is currently preparing to tackle her first major acting role as Esther Greenwood in a highly anticipated adaptation of Sylvia Plath‘s iconic 1963 novel The Bell Jar. The cinematic project is being spearheaded by Sarah Polley, the celebrated filmmaker who previously earned an Oscar for her work on Women Talking.
