Four Uzbek Citizens Die in Turkey Over Tragic Three-Day Period

Four citizens of Uzbekistan have lost their lives in Turkey over a devastating three-day period. According to official reports from the Consulate General of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Istanbul, the separate fatal incidents all occurred between June 11 and 13.
The series of tragedies began on June 11 following a severe road traffic accident in Istanbul. A 31-year-old Uzbek man was killed in the collision alongside his Turkish wife and their two-month-old infant.
The following day brought further heartbreak on the roads when another fatal crash occurred in the Tuzla district of Istanbul. The consulate confirmed that a 23-year-old Uzbek man succumbed to catastrophic injuries he sustained in the accident.
In an unrelated tragedy on June 13, a 58-year-old Uzbek woman passed away in an Istanbul medical facility. Officials stated that she died following a prolonged and difficult battle with cancer.
The Consulate General has issued a formal statement expressing its deepest condolences to the grieving families and loved ones of the deceased.
The diplomatic mission is currently working in close coordination with the national Migration Agency to provide all necessary support to the affected families. Authorities are actively assisting with the complex logistical challenges of repatriating the bodies to Uzbekistan and resolving any associated administrative issues during this difficult time.
