Octobank Marks 25 Years of Growth as One of Uzbekistan’s Fastest-Growing Financial Ecosystems

On June 23, Octobank celebrated its 25th anniversary, marking a quarter-century journey from a traditional financial institution to one of Uzbekistan’s fastest-growing digital financial ecosystems.

Today, Octobank serves more than 3.6 million customers, works with over 15,000 companies, and maintains an international partnership network spanning 55 countries.

New phase of growth after rebranding

The bank’s rebranding became a starting point for accelerated development. Over the past three years, Octobank has strengthened its market position and delivered steady growth while pursuing a digital transformation strategy.

One of its key achievements was reporting a record net profit of more than 255.9 billion soums in 2025.

Industry recognition

Octobank ranked among Uzbekistan’s top three small banks according to the Center for Economic Research and Reforms (CERR). The bank also received ratings with a stable outlook from Moody’s and S&P Global Ratings.

Visa named Octobank the country’s best acquiring bank twice. The lender also received awards for dynamic development in Uzbekistan’s banking sector and for leadership in digital payments at the E-commerce Central Asia Expo. The value of the Octobank brand has reached $30 mln.

Digital ecosystem

The bank’s flagship mobile application, Octo-Mobile, offers QR payments, microloans and credit products, while investment services are available through the JETT platform.

For businesses, Octobank provides internet acquiring, online payments through the OCTO service, POS terminals, merchant acquiring, cash management services and international settlements.

Customers can also make payments through Alipay+, transfer funds from Kazakhstan via Kaspi to HUMO and Uzcard cards, and use E9PAY for international transfers from South Korea.

International expansion

In 2025, Octobank became one of the few Uzbek banks to participate in the global SIBOS financial forum, where its representatives held more than 40 meetings with partners from 20 countries.

ESG and social initiatives

The bank operates the «Mahalla Banker» program, supports financial literacy projects for schoolchildren, and develops media and educational initiatives including OCTO-AI-TV and «Faces of Octobank.»

It also supports the Children’s Hematology, Oncology and Immunology Center and actively participates in ESG and sustainable development projects.
