K-pop group Stray Kids have released a new single titled «November 11th» in collaboration with confectionery maker Lotte Wellfood.

The track celebrates Pepero Day, a South Korean cultural event observed annually on November 11. The date is written numerically as 11.11, reflecting the shape of the chocolate-coated biscuit sticks. Customarily, people exchange the treats with friends, family and romantic partners.

Stray Kids member Han co-wrote the music and lyrics for the release. The single serves as the centrepiece of a worldwide marketing push by Lotte Wellfood, which has kept the eight-piece boy band as its global ambassadors since 2025.

The manufacturer plans to feature the song in upcoming international promotional material. A company representative said the initiative aims to elevate the global profile of South Korean culture. The single was released simultaneously on domestic and international music platforms on September 10.

The snack brand has already achieved substantial overseas growth. Last year, Pepero exports totalled 87bn won ($65mn). Lotte Wellfood expects the musical partnership to further accelerate sales across international markets.

Stray Kids expand global activities

Stray Kids debuted under JYP Entertainment in 2018 and have since established a major international following with songs including «God’s Menu», «Thunderous», «MANIAC» and «Walkin on Water».

The group has continued its global expansion in 2026 with the launch of the «RUN IT World Tour». The tour opened with five concerts in Seoul in July and August before moving to Japan, where the group performed at Tokyo’s MUFG Stadium on August 29-30 and is scheduled to continue with shows in Nagoya, Osaka and Fukuoka.
