Motorola’s new wide Razr Fold to feature 3D glass and a creaseless screen
Leaked internal mockups and certification listings indicate Motorola is developing a new wide-format Razr Fold device to compete directly with the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and iPhone Duo.
Concept sketches from Motorola’s design team highlight a cover display featuring «3D glass» and a bezel-less front. This terminology suggests the handset will incorporate curved screen edges similar to the company’s Edge series smartphones. The exterior design features sharp left corners and rounded right edges, bringing the device aesthetically closer to Apple’s latest folding models.

Internal documents also reveal Motorola’s ambition to deliver a fully «creaseless display» for the inner folding screen. While competitors like the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and iPhone Duo have minimised their screen creases, Motorola aims to eliminate the visual imperfection entirely. This would mark a significant upgrade over the current generation Razr Fold, which features a more pronounced crease than its direct rivals.
The leaked mockups share a distinct watermark with a recent Wireless Power Consortium listing for a Verizon-specific variant of the Razr Fold. The certification details indicate the device will support the Qi 2.2.1 wireless charging standard without internal magnetic alignment. While the company has not officially announced the handset, the design documents outline a clear push to refine the premium foldable experience.
