Nearly 1,000 companies in Uzbekistan benefit from European investment

Uzbekistan and the European Union (EU) aim to expand economic cooperation, the Ministry of Investments, Industry, and Trade of Uzbekistan announced.

The ministry’s head, Laziz Kudratov, met with the EU Ambassador to Uzbekistan, Toivo Klaar, to discuss ongoing projects in geology, the chemical industry, and energy and explore new areas for collaboration.

The Ministry of Investments reported that 997 companies in Uzbekistan currently involve European investment.

Kursiv Uzbekistan reported that German Chancellor Olaf Scholz visited Uzbekistan in September.
