Uzbekistan Foreign Trade Turnover Increased by 7.7%

According to data from the country’s Statistical Agency, Uzbekistan’s foreign trade turnover we reached $42.8 bln, marking a 7.7% increase compared to the same period in the previous year.

The value of exports in foreign trade surpassed $19.7 bln, reflecting an 11.5% increase from the previous year. In the same period, the country imported goods totalling $28.4 bln, representing a 5.2% increase in imports.

Previously, Kursiv Uzbekistan reported a 12% growth in Uzbekistan’s trade with the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) -September 2024, up 7.7% ($3.5 bln) compared to the same period last year, according to data from the country’s Statistical Agency.

The share of exports in foreign trade exceeded $19.7 bln, which is 11.5% more than in the previous year.

The country purchased $28.4 bln worth of goods from other countries during this period. The government increased imports by 5.2%.

Kursiv Uzbekistan reports that Uzbekistan’s trade with the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) grew by 12%.
