Uzbekistan Appoints Ambassador to Switzerland

Dilshod Akhatov, the chargé d’affaires ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan to Germany, has taken over the Republic’s diplomatic mission in Switzerland, as reported by the Dunyo news agency.

On October 25, the ambassador presented his credentials to Swiss President Viola Amherd.

During their meeting, Amherd emphasised Switzerland’s readiness to engage in joint projects on mineral resources and the green economy.

Kursiv Uzbekistan also reports that Saidikram Niyazkhodjaev was appointed Uzbekistan’s ambassador to Kyrgyzstan.
