From November 1, Uzbekistan will introduce new procedures for inspecting imported vehicles, reports UzA. Cars entering the country will undergo inspection at a testing site in Pskent, Tashkent region, instead of at customs. The initiative aims to enhance public safety and protect consumer rights.

The inspections will follow UN transport regulations.
