Uzbekistan ranks sixth among the most popular destinations for Russian tourists during the November holidays, according to research by the RBC agency and the booking service Ostrovok.

Leading up to the November holidays in 2024, Russians booked hotels and apartments in Uzbekistan twice as often as they did last year.

Between November 1st and 5th, Uzbekistan achieved fourth place for booking growth, following Japan, Kazakhstan, and Abkhazia.

Russia celebrates National Unity Day on November 4th, commemorating the anniversary of the liberation of Moscow by the people’s militia led by Minin and Pozharsky in 1612.
