Uzbekistan’s Navoi region attracts $3.5 bln in investments

The Navoi region has drawn over $3.5 bln in investments in the past seven years. President Shavkat Mirziyoyev announced this figure during his visit to the region.
This year, the region plans to launch 577 projects worth $2.1 bln. The President reviewed 12 of these initiatives.
Investors include companies from the United States, China, Korea, and other countries. These investments span sectors such as chemicals, energy, construction, and various industries.
In the Karmana district, Chinese investors will support projects worth $2.5 bln. Additionally, Russian investment will help establish aluminium packaging production in the same region.
