From January to October 2024, approximately 6.5 million foreign tourists visited Uzbekistan. This represents an increase of 951,300 visitors, or 17.2%, compared to last year.
The largest number of visitors came from neighbouring countries, with 1.88 million from Tajikistan, 1.87 million from Kyrgyzstan, and 1.27 million from Kazakhstan. Tourists also arrived from Russia, Turkmenistan, Turkey, and China.
Kursiv Uzbekistan also reports that Uzbek tourists have started to spend less in Kazakhstan.
