Uzbekistan to Host the Inaugural Eurasia 2025
Uzbekistan is ready to host the inaugural M360 Eurasia 2025 following a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing in Doha, Qatar, as notified by Veon press-office.
The agreement was sealed by Uzbekistan’s Minister of Digital Technologies, Sherzod Shermatov, GSMA Director General Mats Granryd, Beeline Uzbekistan Chairman and VEON Group CEO Kaan Terzioglu and incoming Beeline Uzbekistan CEO Andrey Pyatakhin.
The M360 series, presented by GSMA, aims to unify the regional mobile ecosystem through global events that foster innovation, contribute to positive business environments and drive societal change.
Shermatov highlighted Uzbekistan’s ambitious digitalisation agenda, emphasising its role in enhancing national prosperity and regional economic growth.
Kaan Terzioglu praised M360 Eurasia as a pivotal platform for exploring growth through connectivity and digital innovation. He expressed excitement about partnering with GSMA and the Ministry to bring this significant event to Tashkent, the hub of Beeline Uzbekistan.
Mats Granryd noted the importance of hosting M360 Eurasia 2025 in Tashkent, indicating it as a key milestone in advancing digital transformation in Central Asia.
The event aims to promote sustainable economic growth and digital inclusion, fostering collaboration within the mobile ecosystem. This significant initiative reflects the growing commitment of Uzbekistan and regional players to leverage mobile technology for societal advancement and economic development.
