In the first ten months of 2024, the volume of telecommunications services in Uzbekistan reached 16.9 trln soums, showing a 13.5% increase compared to the same period last year, according to the State Statistics Committee.
Telecommunications accounted for 2.6% of all services provided in the country during this period.
Since 2020, the telecommunications market has doubled in size. However, the growth rate from January to October 2024 was the lowest in the past five years.
The biggest market increase occurred in 2022, with a 21% rise in telecommunications services from January to October.
