A day after Israel and the Lebanese militant group Hezbollah agreed to a ceasefire, both sides accused each other of breaking the deal, Reuters reports.
Israeli officials reported that suspicious individuals entered the southern conflict zone in vehicles, violating the truce. Hezbollah, in turn, claimed Israeli forces attacked people returning to their homes.
In response, Israeli airstrikes targeted a site in southern Lebanon. According to Israeli authorities, Hezbollah used the location to store medium-range missiles.
The exchanges highlight the fragility of the ceasefire, which is expected to hold for 60 days.
