Syrian Prime Minister Expresses Willingness to Transfer Power

Syrian Prime Minister Mohammad Ghazi al-Jalali expressed his readiness to transfer power in a video shared on his official Facebook page.
He stated, “This matter is contingent upon the leadership elected by the Syrian people. We are prepared to cooperate with them.”
According to reports from Al Hadath TV, militants from various Syrian factions have taken control of Damascus. It is also reported that President Bashar al-Assad has departed from the country.
Previously, Iran, Russia, Turkey, and five Arab states called for a political resolution to the ongoing crisis in Syria.
