Alisher Kadyrov, the leader of the Milliy Tiklanish party, has supported the initiative to introduce a visa regime with Russia and to tighten requirements for labour migrants. He shared his views in a post on his Telegram channel.
Kadyrov stated, “Not only we, but the entire Central Asian region should support the initiatives of Russian politicians to strengthen the visa regime with Russia and the requirements for job seekers.”
He stressed the importance of respecting national values and the cultural integration of migrants. Kadyrov also emphasised that foreigners living in Uzbekistan should know the Uzbek language, culture and local traditions.
