Uzbekistan will begin using space technologies for scientific research and to address economic and environmental challenges. The Senate of the Oliy Majlis has approved the “Space Activities Law,” which outlines the key concepts, principles, and directions of state policy in the space sector.
The document covers areas such as Earth remote sensing, space monitoring, satellite communications, and navigation. It also regulates the use of spaceports, the leasing and disposal of space objects, infrastructure security, and environmental protection.
