President Of Belarus Appoints Ambassador To Uzbekistan

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has selected candidates for ambassadorial posts in several countries, including Uzbekistan, BELTA reports.

Alexander Ogorodnikov, previously the First Deputy Minister of Industry of Belarus, will lead the diplomatic mission in Uzbekistan.

Lukashenko appointed Alexey Bogdanov, the Minister of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade, as the ambassador to Kazakhstan.

The president also announced new appointments to Belarusian diplomatic missions in Azerbaijan, Turkey, Israel, and Cuba.
