BBC Travel has included Uzbekistan in its list of the 25 best travel destinations for 2025, the State Committee for Tourism of Uzbekistan reports.
Other destinations on the list include Italy, Japan, Morocco, the United States, Australia, and Canada.
BBC Travel highlighted that tourism has become a key part of Uzbekistan’s development strategy. Citizens of more than 90 countries can visit Uzbekistan visa-free. By December 1, 2024, the country had welcomed 7.3 mn tourists, with the majority coming from Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Kazakhstan.
