51 Domains Sold on UzRTSB: A New Milestone in Digital Transactions
Since the launch of trading at the Uzbek Republican Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange (UZRTSB), 51 domain names have been purchased for 34.1 mln soums, according to a report from the exchange’s press service.
The trading platform for buying internet domains began operating on December 14, 2024. It offers domain names consisting of two, three, and four characters, as well as premium category domains. The buyer and final price of each domain are determined during the auction.
According to UZRTSB’s calculations, the average auction price of domains has increased by 79.4% compared to the starting prices.
Currently, the exchange lists nearly 70 domain names in the UZ zone. For instance, the starting price for the CATS.UZ domain is 200,000 soums, while the two-character domain is 1M.UZ is priced at 550,000 soums. Bidding for the premium TOWERS.UZ domain started at 600,000 soums.
An integrated artificial intelligence system on the trading platform assists in determining the fair market value of each lot.
