Number of Construction Companies in Uzbekistan Increases by 2%

As of early 2025, the number of registered construction companies in Uzbekistan exceeded 54,200, according to a report from the State Statistics Agency. The figure grew by 2% compared to the previous year.

In 2023, the number of such companies stood at 49,100, while in 2022 and 2021, it was 45,700 and 43,100, respectively.

By the end of 2024, Uzbekistan’s construction market was valued at UZS 233.8 trln, reflecting an annual growth of 8.8%. Significant contributions came from Tashkent (UZS 57.6 trln), the Tashkent region (UZS 24.1 trln), and the Bukhara region (UZS 16.5 trl).

The majority of construction projects in the country involved buildings and structures, accounting for 71.7% of the total construction volume.

Civil buildings made up 19.3%, while specialised buildings accounted for 9%.
