Meta’s Profit Increased by 1.5 Times

In the fourth quarter of 2024, Meta Platforms posted a net profit of $20.8 bn, which is 1.5 times higher than the same period in 2023, according to Interfax.

During this time, the company increased its revenue from $40.1 bn to $48.3 bn. Both figures exceeded market forecasts.

Additionally, the number of active users across Meta’s apps, including Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, and WhatsApp, surpassed 3.3 bn.

Following the report release, the company’s shares rose by 2.16%, reaching $676.5 at 4:22 PM Tashkent time.

Meta forecasts that revenue for the first quarter of this year will range from $39.5 bn to $41.8 bn.
