Alibaba Cloud (Singapore) registered as a VAT payer in Uzbekistan, according to a statement from the State Tax Committee of Uzbekistan.
The cloud computing company registered through the VAT office on tax.uz on January 28.
The Tax Committee also noted that 65 foreign internet companies providing electronic services to individuals are already registered in Uzbekistan.
