Uzbek soccer player Abdukodir Khusanov presented a signed T-shirt to the Uzbek embassy in the UK, according to the Dunyo news agency.
During the meeting, the Embassy’s chief, Ravshan Usmanov, and Khusanov discussed ways to support the Uzbek diaspora in the UK. Usmanov praised Khusanov as a source of pride for Uzbek soccer, stating that he would serve as an example for his fellow countrymen.
In January 2025, Khusanov transferred to the English club Manchester City, signing a 4.5-year contract.
